Life: Repeated 22

Chapter 22:

He stood in the door glaring at me. “Get up. Now!” He barked at me. I did as he said and stood by my bed. He walked over holding a needle in his hand. “Give me your arm.” I did as he said afraid he’d hit me again. I figured he was taking more blood and looked away. I felt the pinch of the needle. I looked over as I felt something entering my vein. It was then that I noticed him pushing the plunger down which sent a purple liquid into my vein. I whimpered and he just smiled. Once done he pulled out the needle and released my arm. “You better take a nap now. It would be in your best interest Caden Matthew Sanders.”

My stomach turned at how he said my full name. He walked out and I looked at my arm where he injected something into me. I sighed and laid on the bed gently. I then started to feel dizzy and groaned holding my head.

I woke god knows how long later and my head was still pounding. I was lying on my side looking at the wall. I rolled over and let out a whimper when I felt pain. I sat up to see what hurt me. Then I saw it. I felt it gently and gasped. Attached to me right above my tailbone is a fluffy tail. It was orange and white. I felt the fur and noticed it was soft. Then I noticed something else. I felt my head and gasped feeling furry cat eats. “Oh god…” I said with a whimper. I went to the bathroom attached to my tiny flat and looked at myself. I noticed the ears moving with my emotions. I looked at the tail and it moved back and forth. I groaned sadly. “I’m a fucking Anime character!” I went back to my bed and laid down on my side crying.

My new body additions were sore for the next week. It’s now April 13. My stomach was growling profusely since Dr. Dick decided I didn’t deserve food yesterday after I bit him. I’ve started being able to control my new ears and tail as well. I’ve learned that they hide away if I desire it. That makes me pretty happy. When asshole Dick learned what he had done to me he was over the moon. I wanted to kick his ass but at the time I was too sore to do much.

Every day now I wonder if my transformation effected Devina in any way. Is she going to be like me now? I sighed pacing my room rubbing my stomach as I felt her tiny movements. I know I’m starving so she must be as well. I sighed sitting there and rubbed my stomach. I looked up as the door opened. A new guy walked in and I growled at him. A literal cat growl escaped my lips. He raised an eyebrow. “Funny, Dr. D said to introduce myself. My name is Dusty. I am your new guard. He seems to think you needed a new one. So here I am.” I just scoffed and threw a book at him. “Well he was right about you being feisty. Be warned, I have permission to hit you if you are bad.”

He walked over and tossed a book at my feet. I grabbed it to look at it and looked up at him not trusting him. “Dr. D said to give that to you. He wants to you write in it.” I looked at the book closer and saw it was a journal. A tear came to my eyes as I recognized the cover of the book. It looked like River’s diary from Doctor Who. He tossed a pen into my lap and walked out. I opened the book and smiled hearing the familiar crinkle of a brand new book. Jynxx would kill me right now for having this book. She’s the huge Doctor Who fan in my family. I grabbed the pen and went to the first page. In big letters I wrote: I WILL GO HOME. It was my promise to myself. One way or another I would be free.
