Dear God Bonus Chapter #1

Jimmy's Birth Scene:
November 11
Matt's POV:

"Keep breathing honey... We're almost there just breathe." I said as I drove us to Huntington General. Jimmy's contractions had started at 7am this morning and his water had yet to break.

"You said that fifteen minutes ago Mattie and we're still not there!" Jimmy snapped breathing hard.

"Well now we are almost there so keep breathing. Are you feeling the urge to push yet?" I asked as I spotted the hospital sign.

"I don't know... what does it feel like?" He asked as he continued to breathe.

"It's a large amount of pressure in your pelvic area cause the baby is pushing against it trying to get out. Are you feeling an urge like that?" I asked as I turned into the hospital parking lot and began to look for a parking space.

"No I'm not feeling that yet." He answered breathing through another one.

"Ok." I said finally finding a spot. I parked the van, grabbed Jimmy's bag, and then got out and went over to help him. "Can you walk or do you want a wheelchair?" I asked looking at the look of pain on his face as he breathed through another one.

"I think I'm able to walk for now." He said and took my hand as he stood up and shut the van door.

We then walked in the door and over to the sign in desk.

"Can I help you?" Asked the Nurse on duty.

"Yeah I'm Jimmy Sullivan and I'm in labor." Jimmy answered pulling his wallet out and showing her his I.D, health insurance card and medical card then signing his name on the log.

"Ok and who is your primary doctor Mr. Sullivan?" The Nurse asked after scanning his cards through her print scanner.

"Dr. Roy Fletcher... Excuse me!" He groaned holding his belly as another one started and he gripped the counter for support.

"Would you like a semi-private or a private delivery room Mr. Sullivan?" She asked as Jimmy finished the contraction.

"Private please." he said breathlessly grabbing my hand and gripping it tightly.

"Would you like a wheelchair sir?" She asked as Jimmy started breathing through another one.

"You know that would sound good right about now. Cause I feel like my legs are gonna buckle." Jimmy groaned grabbing me for support.

The nurse nodded and walked away then came back with a wheelchair which Jimmy sat down in with a relieved sigh.

Then she took the handles and wheeled him to the elevator with me following holding Jimmy's hand in mine.

Soon we had Jimmy in a hospital bed and the nurse hooked him up to a fetal monitor then left us while we waited for Roy.

"Oooh god these are excruciating! How did you handle them Mattie?" Jimmy groaned rubbing his belly in a futile effort to soothe the contractions.

"If you remember correctly I had distractions I had you, Brian, Johnny, Zack and Ryan with me and now it's just us... But I know what would distract you..." I said as I kissed him passionately.

I then got on the bed with him and caressed his neck then slid my hand down to his penis.

"Mmm... Mattie no." He muttered grasping my hand.

"Why not? It will distract you so the contractions won't bother you... Please Jim Jam let's try it." I said and then began giving him a hand job making him moan.

"Oooh Mattie don't stop." He begged "Hold on... Lock the door first." He instructed.

I got up, quickly locked the door, stripped down to nothing and got into bed with him.  Soon I was riding him as he moaned with pleasure. The contractions were still there but Jimmy ignored them as I continued to ride him.

After a few hours we finally came and then I slid off of him and kissed him again. "Did it help?" I asked as I pulled back on my clothes.

"A little but now that we're done they'll start hurting again." He said kind of disappointed. "Oh god here comes one now!" He groaned taking a deep breath and breathing through it. He then gasped and pulled off the sheet as blood and water rushed out of him.

"What happened Mattie?... I'm scared!" He asked nervously

"Your water just broke... I'd better unlock the door you page Roy." I said handing him the call button.

No sooner I unlocked it Roy came strolling in with his clipboard. "Hey Jimmy and Matt... I tried to get in here earlier but the door was locked and figured you were sleeping that is until I heard moaning and Matt saying "Oh yeah." over and over again." He said making me and Jimmy's face pale.

"Yeah about that..." I stammered but he just shrugged it off and checked Jimmy's and the babies' heartbeats. Then he lifted the sheet "I see your water broke." He said as he put on a pair of rubber gloves.

"Yeah it just broke a few minutes ago." Jimmy said as Roy checked him.

"Ok we'll you're about 6 and ½ centimeters dilated and progressing really well... If you wanna speed things up a bit you can sit on a Swedish massage ball or get in the tub and let the warm water relax you. I'll be back in a little while. Alright?" He said as he lowered the sheet.

"Ok thanks Roy." Jimmy said as he walked out of the room. "Well looks like we have some time to kill." He added as he got out of the bed and sat down on the ball. I grabbed a chair and set it in front of him and he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me as a contraction pelted him.

"Ooooh uuuugggghhhhh... Phew huff huff huff... Oh god I want them out!... Please get them out Mattie!" He begged burying his face into my shirt.

"I can't Jimmy only you can." I said with a sigh.

"Ugh! Goddamn it this sucks!" He growled.

Suddenly my phone rang and I reached into my pocket, checked the caller I.D and saw it was our house. "Hello?" I asked as Jimmy started breathing from another one.

"Hey Mommy it's Tanya... Terra's still asleep. Is Daddy ok? Uncle Brian and Uncle Johnny told me you took him to the hospital." Tanya said sounding worried.

"Hang on you wanna talk to him?" I asked looking at Jimmy as he nodded.

"Yeah." She answered.

"Ok here he is." I said handing Jimmy the phone.

Jimmy's POV:

I could feel another contraction coming but ignored it so I could assure my daughter that I was ok.

"Tanya?" I asked making sure she was there.

"Daddy? Are you ok? You're not sick are you?" She asked in worry.

I took a deep breath as it gripped me then answered her. "I'm not sick honey... Remember when I told you that soon I would be in pain and then when the pain went away the babies would be here?"

"Yeah." She answered.

"Well that time has come and pretty soon the babies will be here." I explained starting to feel that pushing urge that Mattie was telling me about.

"You still gonna film it so you can show us when you come home?" She asked excitedly.

"Of course we will honey." I answered. "We were gonna bring you both with us but you two were still sleeping and I was in a lot of pain and couldn't wait." I said when suddenly I heard a baby cry in the background. "Which one is that? Calix or Cade?" I asked with a grin.

"Cade... I gotta go Daddy I promised Uncle Brian I'd help him with diaper changes... Be careful and give the babies a kiss for us." She said as I heard her lips kiss the earpiece.

"I will. Love you honey and give your sister a hug and kiss for me and don't forget to give yourself one and as soon as the babies are born I'll send Mom home with pictures." I said gritting my teeth as another one started.

"Love you too Daddy." She said and then hung up.

I handed the phone back to Matt and continued to breathe.

After another four hours Roy checked me again. "Ok it's baby time!" He announced making me breathe a sigh of relief cause one more hour of this and I probably would've snapped.

"Praise heaven." I gasped.

"Now do you wanna deliver on the bed or in the tub?" Roy asked as he grabbed all the supplies needed for the birth.

"On the bed... But I wanna deliver by squatting down. Not by laying on my back." I answered.

"Very well... Just let me adjust the bed so it's more comfortable for you." He said putting the bed into a sitting up position and then putting on a pair of rubber gloves.

"Mattie get the video camera and turn it to record and then get behind me so I can lean on you in between pushing." I instructed.

"Ok." He said getting behind me and rubbing my shoulders after I had got into position.

"Ok Jimmy take a deep breath, tilt your chin to your chest and bare down pushing as hard as you can ok? Can you do that?" Roy asked as he shut the door.

I nodded and on my next contraction I bore down giving it my all. "Oh goodness... Ooooooohhhhhh uuuuuugggggghhhhh!" I groaned as I felt the pressure building as the baby moved down further and further.

"Good push Jimmy... Keep pushing... A little more and... Stop! Take a breath." He instructed as I huffed breathelessly. The pain was terrible and I had to tip my hat to Matt, Zack, Brian and Ryan and felt deep sympathy for Johnny when he had to go through this.

"Ok push again Jimmy." Roy instructed as I felt another contraction starting.

"Uuuuugggggghhhhhhhh!!!!" I growled as the baby moved down farther until finally I felt the burning sensation as the head crowned. "Shit! Fuck! Oh hell... Get it out get it out!" I screamed not liking it one damn bit.

"Jimmy calm down." Roy said concerned.

"I'll calm down when this baby's out of me, now get it out of me!" I demanded leaning against Matt as I felt the rest of the head slide out. I put my hand down there and felt a sticky clump of hair and began to cry. "Oh my gosh Mattie... You've gotta feel this!" I exclaimed grabbing his hand and placing it on the baby's head.

"Holy shit that feels amazing Jim Jam." Matt cried as tears soaked my shoulder.

"Oh god here comes another contraction." I groaned and began pushing again.

"Keep going Jimmy you're doing great honey." Matt encouraged me as he rubbed my shoulders.

"Oh shut up you yahoo you did this to me!" I growled then sighed. "I'm sorry Mattie I didn't mean to snap at you." I spoke apologetically as I continued to push.

Finally with one last groan, a scream and one final push the baby slid out of me and into Roy's arms. I leaned back against Mattie breathing hard as Roy cleaned the baby and then laid it on my chest as it gave off a loud cry of protest. I counted fingers and toes and looked to see what the gender was and felt tears. "We have a boy Mattie." I announced as Matt cut the cord.

"He's gorgeous Jim Jam...He has your eyes." Matt said as he kissed me and the baby's head. "So what're we gonna name him?" He wondered.

"Teagen... Teagen Stuart Sullivan...Ooooh take him Mattie the other one's coming I'm feeling the urge to push." I said handing Teagen over and getting back into position.

"Go for it Jimmy." Roy said as I took another deep breath and gave it my all. I could feel this one move down a lot more quicker then Teagen had and after another push I was crowning. I stopped to breathe and pant as the head slid out on it's own and then once I got the ok I began to push again but didn't feel the baby moving. "What's wrong? Why isn't it coming out?" I asked worried.

"Hang on let me see why." Roy said checking the fetal monitor and finding nothing wrong. "Heartbeat is normal... Try pushing a little harder and see what that does or better yet try pushing on you hands and knees. Matt come out from behind him and let him hold you." He instructed.

"Ok." Matt said as I got into position. Once Matt was in front of me I wrapped my arms around his neck and held on as I gave another big hard push and felt the baby slide out of me in a rush of fluids. I then carefully sat on my bottom and took the crying baby in my arms and counted fingers and toes then checked the gender "We've got another boy Mattie." I said sobbing as Teagen began crying from his cradle. "You wanna name this one?" I asked as I got off the bed and sat in the wheelchair so the nurse could change the sheets.

"I've got the perfect name." He said with a smile and then kissed me. "Taylor Sweeney Sullivan."

"It's perfect... Absolutely perfect." I said with a yawn. Once the bed was changed I got into it, laid back and fed my sons then afterwards I fell asleep.

Matt's POV:

I smiled as Jimmy slept. He looked so peaceful and serene. I sat down in the rocking chair to shut off the camera as the nurse handed me Teagen and Taylor and lifted my shirt so they could eat their dinner since both of us could breastfeed. I now had the perfect family and for that I was grateful.
