Dear God 10

~Brian's POV~

It was Saturday I didn't have to go to the college so I put on my comfy slippers and sat down to watch TV but found to my disappointment there wasn't a damn thing on... bogus! Johnny went to the store to get me some Ice Cream. He is so good to the baby and me! I was just about to shut it off when I flicked to the Baby Channel and saw a woman giving birth, my eyes became glued to the TV as I watched her labor.

She looked like she was in tremendous pain as she gripped her husband's hand and the camera closed in on her face "Get that beep-ing camera outta my face!" she screamed her cursing censored.

Finally she was ready to push and as I watched her my eyes got wide with fear, she took a deep breath and pushed again and the camera got a shot of the baby's head crowning and that's when I lost it. I turned the TV off, bolted to the trashcan, and vomited all my dinner from the night before. That was when I heard Johnny's car pull into the garage and the garage door shut and quickly got myself together. Though my calmness was blown the minute Johnny came in the door from the grocery store cause I ran into his arms crying hysterically.

Johnny's POV:

When I came in the door and Brian ran into my arms I didn't know what to think. I set the ice cream on the couch and hugged him close to me as his body shook with sobs "Honey what is it what happened?" I asked worriedly. He pointed to the TV and cried harder. Confused I grabbed the remote and pushed replay and when I saw the woman giving birth I finally understood, I turned it off again and ran my hand through his hair. "Oh Bri it's ok, I know it looks scary but I'll be right there with you I promise you will not do it alone" I assured him as he looked at me and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"It wasn't that, it was when the baby's head started crowning that I got scared and then I threw up in the trashcan!" he cried sobbing again.

"But Brian you won't be able to see it if you don't want to, they give you the option, and there will be no cameras neither just me, you, a midwife and Dr. Fletcher" I spoke in a soothing tone as I massaged his scalp.

"You promise me!" Brian cried looking into my eyes with tears falling down his "I promise you a hundred percent" I promised kissing his lips and giggling as they got wet with his tears.

"How about I draw you a nice bath and make you an ice cream sundae ok?" I said scooping him up in my arms and carrying him to our room.

"Only if you join me" he asked looking at me.

"That was my plan" I said as he laid his head on my chest.
