Jen POV

Jason helped me put on my fairy princess outfit as Damien dressed the twins as unicorns. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. "Wow, I look like a real fairy." Jason kneeled next to me and adjusted my wings. "Jason do you think I will win the contest this year?"

"If you don't win the judges are insane." We looked towards the hallway as we heard crying. "I think we better help your brother, sounds like he is having some trouble." I nodded and we went to the living room.

Damien POV

I cursed silently when Aura spit up on my shirt. "Oh Aura, honey, we are supposed to dress up and look cute, not barf on mommy." I sighed and set her in her bassinette. "What am I gonna do with you two? This is your first Halloween, you're supposed to have fun." I pulled off my shirt and threw it onto the floor. "You two are so reckless." They both smiled at me. "Alright, maybe your first Halloween is just for me, but can't we go five minutes without throwing up our previous feeding?" I looked at Jen and Jason when they walked into the room. "Jen you look gorgeous, any chance that wand really works?"

Jen laughed and walked over to the bassinettes.  "Hi Lily, hi Aura. You two look so cute. We are gonna have so much fun tonight. This is one of the few times a year you get free candy, it's great!" Lily and Aura smiled. "Don't care huh? You will in a few years."

I went to get a different shirt as Jen and Jason watched the girls. We all loaded into the Honda and headed to Nancy's. Jason parked the car and I went to the trunk to retrieve the stroller. I got it out and Jason loaded Lily and Aura into it. We walked to the house and Jen knocked. Nancy opened the door and we hollered "Trick or Treat!"

"Come in, trick or treating starts in 10 minutes." I pushed the stroller into the house. "Jen you look stunning." Jen twirled gracefully. Nancy looked at the twins next. "Oh my god! How adorable. They look so cute Damien. And Jason why are you dressed up? Oh wait, you always look like Frankenstein." We all laughed.

"Hey Nancy, thanks for letting us keep the car here while we hiked through town. I'm glad it's one less thing to worry about." She looked confused. "They spit up right after their meal. Nothing got on them but I was covered in baby barf!" I looked at both girls who slept peacefully. "I still can't believe they will be a year old on the 11th."

I sat on the couch with the stroller in front of me, I looked at my daughters with wonder. I was still amazed at the fact that they are mine. "Yeah they are really adorable Damien. You and Jason are very lucky." Nancy said as she walked to the girls. "Can I get anyone anything before I go?" I shook my head and Jason did the same. Nancy looked at Jen. "Do you need to use the bathroom?" Jen nodded and ran to relieve herself.

I sighed when the girls cooed in their sleep. "They are really something. When I was pregnant they were always moving, now all they do is sleep. I thought the way a baby acts in their mother reflects how they will act once born. Everyone was wrong, I think they just hated the cramped space." I smiled when Lily kicked her feet; Aura whimpered in her sleep. "Hush Aura, it's ok." I began to rock the stroller gently, she fell back asleep immediately.

Jen walked out a second later. "Ok I'm ready." Jason nodded and readjusted her crown and wings. "Thanks Jason." 5 minutes later I pushed the stroller outside and we went on our way.

After 2 hours of je knocking on doors yelling "Trick or Treat" we headed back to Nancy's. Since there was a line of people at the front door we went out the back. I sat on the couch and put my feet on the coffee table. Jason sat next to me and Jen sat in the chair. She fell asleep 5 minutes later. I smiled at Nancy when she walked in. "Hey Nancy, we are done for the night. My feet are killing me and Jen passed out once she sat down." I looked at the girls when they both whimpered. "They are probably hungry again." I picked up Lily and started to feed her. Jason took Aura and changed her diaper. Once done we switched.

"Why don't you guys stay for dinner? I was gonna make hot dogs with Mac & Cheese." I looked at Jason and he nodded. "Great you guys relax and I will make dinner." Nancy went to make dinner and we tried to calm the twins.

The door bell rang and Jason handed Aura to me. "I'll get it mom!" he went to the door and handled the trick or treaters. He came back a few minutes later and took Aura. "You ok babe? You look exhausted." I nodded. "Well when we get home you and I will take a long bath then off to bed." He smiled wickedly at me. I was about to protest when Nancy came back in. I smiled at Lily when she cooed.

"You know Nancy, we are grateful you are letting us crash here for now." I looked at Lily when she squirmed. "What is it little one? Don't tell me you're hyper already." I sighed when she squirmed again. "Alright, alright." I sat her on my lap with her back leaning against me, Lily smiled immediately. I looked at Aura and saw she was acting the same way. "Jason, hand her to me." I sat Aura on my lap next to her sister, they were both leaning on my stomach.

"Wow, they are momma's girls. Lucky you Damien. Wait til they are older, you will find them clinging to your legs." I sighed as they cooed again. "It seems you have a wonderful family Damien." The doorbell rang again. "Can you get that Jason?" he nodded and walked away. "I'm gonna check dinner, excuse me." I nodded and started to play with the girls.

Jason POV

I stood in the doorway shocked at what I saw. "Dad." He looked at me mirroring my surprise. "What are you doing here?" I looked towards the living room when one of the girls cried. "Dad I'm kinda busy so what do you want?"

"I came to see your mother. I had no idea you still lived here." He looked towards the living room. "Did your mom have a baby?"

"No, that is my daughter." He looked shocked. "Listen you can come in, but only til mom tells you to leave." I just walked away leaving him standing there. I heard him close the door and follow me. "Aura what's wrong honey, why are you crying?" she smiled and cooed at me. I picked her up and kissed her cheek. "What, did you miss me?" she smiled again. "See there is no reason to cry." I heard dad clear his throat.

I turned to him. "Damien, this is my deadbeat dad Dick Thompson." I saw the regret in my father's eyes. "Dad this is my fiancée Damien and our daughters. The little one in the chair is Damien's sister. Now why are you really here dad?" I saw anger in his eyes and his face turned red.

"Like I said I came here to talk to your mother. Where is she?" I nodded towards the kitchen. "Any chance you will let me talk to her alone?" I shook my head. "I figured that." He sighed and leaned against the wall.

"I will get her, you stay in here; and don't go anywhere near my daughters or fiancée." I walked into the kitchen. "Mom there is a surprise in the living room for you." she turned and looked at me. "It's dad, he wants to talk to you." she sighed. "Come on, and don't forget I'm here for you." she just looked at me. "And the babies are here for you."

Damien POV

I watched dick nervously while I held Lily. She had fallen asleep against me. I held her close as I waited for Jason to come back. Dick kept looking at me weirdly. I sighed when I saw Jason and Nancy. I smiled when I saw Aura with her head on Jason's shoulder. Jason sat next to me and put his arm around me. I leaned against him, glad he was back. "He is creepy, he kept staring at Lily and me." I whispered to him. He kissed my cheek and rubbed my back reassuringly.

"Nancy you look beautiful, just as beautiful as I remember." He walked towards her and she just stood there. "I have missed you so much my pet." He went to hug her and she pushed him away. "Honey bear, what's wrong?" I noticed Jen was still asleep.

I was surprised when Nancy slapped dick. "I am not your honey bear. I stopped being your honey bear when you blamed me for Toby's death. I stopped being your honey bear when you left me and Jason to fend for ourselves. I don't know why you came and I don't care!" she pointed to the door. "There is the door, don't let it hit your ass on the way out!" I watched in surprise as Nancy chased in out. She walked back to us a few minutes later. "I'm sorry you had to see that." She looked at Jen who was snoring loudly. "That girl sleeps through everything doesn't she?"

I nodded. "Mom said Jen even slept through her birth." We laughed. I looked at Aura when she yawned in Jason's arms. "Go to sleep little one, you won't miss anything." Nancy looked confused. "We thinks she doesn't want to miss anything. When she was born she cried before she was delivered fully." Nancy laughed. "I'm serious, she hates to miss anything." I smiled when she fell asleep in her fathers arms.

The girls slept in the stroller as we ate dinner. On the way home Jen fell asleep again. Jason carried her into the house while I carried the girls. Jason removed Jen's wings and crown before lying her in bed and covering her. I took the girls to the nursery and started to remove their costumes. I changed their diapers, laid them down for the night, and went to bed 10 minutes later.

~Nov. 11~

Jason POV

I woke to find the bed empty. That meant Damien was with the girls. I stood and went to the nursery. I walked into the nursery and found it empty. I searched the whole top floor of the house searching for my soon to be husband. I got downstairs and went to the kitchen. I found Lily and Aura sitting in their high chairs. I walked to them and smiled. "Hi little one's. Happy Birthday. And where is mommy hiding? Do you know?"

In that exact second a group yelling of happy birthday filled the air. I spun around to find mom, Damien, and Jen with a happy birthday banner. It said Happy Birthday Lily, Aura, and Jason. "What the hell is wrong with you people? You almost gave me a heart attack!" I out my hand over my heart and just noticed I stood in front of my daughters protectively. I smiled when Lily and Aura clapped. "So who told you today is my birthday?"

"I did of course. You wouldn't let me celebrate your birthday since you moved out. But now since you share a birthday with your daughters I figured why not start again. I mean we all know you have a birthday since I forced you out of my body."

I cringed. "Mom shut up, I don't need to know that." My whole body convulsed as I felt the urge to puke. "Mom I think you have grossed me out for all time." Mom laughed and I looked at my daughters. "Happy Birthday angels." I kissed each of them. I smiled when they reached for me.

I walked over to Damien and kissed him. "Happy birthday Jason." I hugged him and he wrapped his arms around my neck. "Jason why didn't you tell me the girls shared your birthday? I woulda celebrated it last year."

"I don't like to celebrate it. Ever since Toby died I refused to celebrate it." I looked at my daughters to hide my tears. I looked at Jen when she hugged me. "Hey kid."

Damien POV

At noon it was time for the cake. I put the girls in their high chairs as Jason cut the cake. Jason set cake in front of everyone including the girls. He sat down and smiled at me. "Happy birthday Jason. I love you." I leaned over and kissed him. "So you're 20 and the girls are one. How do you feel?"

"Like normal." We both laughed as Lily and Aura played with the cake instead of eating it. We figured it would happen. "The only thing that is good about this day is them. They make this day great. If not for them it would just be another day to me." After we finished cake we did presents. The presents for my daughters included rattles, stuffed animals, and clothes. Jason got a watch, some shirts and Jen gave him a picture of us all. He smiled at her and kissed her cheek. I laughed when she blushed. I figured she would be used to him kissing her by now since we've been a family for almost 2 years now.
